BRADFORD — A Bradford couple arrested by the FBI and accused of being involved in the riot at the Capitol talked about their alleged roles on Facebook in the days leading up to and following the incident, according to court records.
Stephanie and Brandon Miller face federal charges of violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds and knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority.
Both are no longer in jail.
According to a statement of facts unsealed Thursday, Brandon Miller messaged with someone on Facebook the day before the riot.
“Heading to DC for tomorrow the 6th the really not sure if you have seen anything about it but me and Stephanie are going to witness history,” Brandon Miller wrote in the message included in court records.
Surveillance cameras inside the Capitol showed who federal agents said was the couple, together inside the Capitol building. One of them appeared to be carrying some sort of flag.
A witness also told investigators the Millers were also spotted in a Facebook Live that was posted on Brandon Miller’s account that showed the couple inside the Capitol building, court records read.
The couple are two of at least six people arrested locally in connection to the Jan. 6 riot.
